This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Refund and Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:
We do not accept cash, cheques, bank transfers, or cryptocurrency.
Payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party providers integrated with the Shopify e-commerce platform. Depending on the payment method you choose, your transaction may be processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. By completing a purchase, you accept the applicable processor's terms in addition to ours.
We do not see or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code. We only receive a transaction reference, the last four digits of your card, the cardholder name, and the authorisation result.
All transactions are processed in British Pounds (GBP). If your card or bank account is denominated in a different currency, your bank or card provider may apply its own conversion rate and foreign-transaction fees at their discretion. Those charges are outside our control and are not added by Pejayz.
When you place an order, our payment processor authorises the transaction to confirm that your payment method is valid and that funds are available. In line with the UK's Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) rules under PSD2, your bank may ask you to verify the payment using 3D Secure, a one-time passcode, biometrics, or another authentication step. These checks are carried out by your card issuer, not by us.
Your payment method will be charged once the transaction is authorised and the order is confirmed in our system. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch email, as explained in our Terms of Service.
Once your payment is authorised, we will send an automated order receipt to the email address you provided at checkout, showing your order number and a summary of your purchase. This receipt is an acknowledgement, not acceptance of the order. Acceptance occurs when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch email.
If a payment is declined, please check that:
We do not receive detailed decline reasons. For more information, please contact your card issuer or payment provider.
You must provide accurate and complete billing information that matches the details registered with your payment method. Differences between your billing and shipping address may result in additional verification by your bank or our payment processor.
To keep our store and our customers safe, all orders are subject to automated risk screening by our payment processors. Orders flagged as potentially unauthorised may be held for additional verification, cancelled, or refunded to the original payment method. We may contact you to confirm details before dispatching high-risk orders.
Full details of how to return goods and when refunds apply are set out in our Refund and Return Policy.
If you have an issue with your order, please contact us first at info@pejayz.com so we can try to resolve it.
We take chargebacks raised without first contacting us, and chargebacks found to be unauthorised or invalid, seriously. We reserve the right to:
None of the above limits your statutory rights as a consumer or your right to raise a legitimate chargeback with your card issuer.
If a payment is reversed by your card provider, bank, or Klarna after your order has been dispatched — for example due to a failed instalment or a chargeback later found to be invalid — we may require you to either settle the outstanding amount or return the goods in their original condition at your cost.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing on the Site is accurate. In the rare event of an obvious pricing error — for example an item listed at a fraction of its true market price due to a technical fault — we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the original payment method. Where we cancel an order in these circumstances, no contract will have been formed, in line with our Terms of Service.
Nothing in this Payment Policy limits or excludes your rights as a consumer under UK law, including:
Those rights always apply.
When placing an order, you are responsible for:
We are committed to:
We may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our payment providers, security practices, or the law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. The version in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order.
